So despite stll being in profit regarding transfers for the last summer window.

Apparently there is no money for new signings this January

I appreciate that our wage bill has probably increased somewhat, but what happened to all of the TV revenue money for the season? A figure well over 100 million quid.

true strikers who can play in Moyes's set up are as rare as pixie shit, but we have to start to conceive of a world without Antonio sooner than later, and he will be missed for his goals, physical presence and chasing of lost causes.

Lets see how Kudus shapes up in the next few games. The early signs are encouraging, but i think we should try and get someone in January as we have a long season ahead potentially.

Most clubs outside the big six often borrow money for transfers. That's due to their revenues being almost double ours.

Re: same old west ham?
We know two things about Sullicunt and one about Moyes:

Sully is happy with finishing 17th at least and that’s pretty much guaranteed already.

He thinks cup runs are an inconvenient cost.

Moyes thinks Michael Antonio is the only striker on earth.

So it would not surprise me one bit if Sullicunt has already got his minions putting the word out there’s no money in January. There’s rarely money in January. Remember January 2022?

After listening to Maguire the other day I can see him here in January.

Re: same old west ham?
The January window is rarely a good time to buy anyways......maybe a loan to boost the squads options where needed.....for instance we need an inform forward/striker and any striker in form is not going to be sold for a fair amount in the mid season let alone the summer.

My opinion is there is difference between saying there is ‘no money’ and just not saying anything at all.

There must be otherwise how will Moyes be able to get his love child in, Maguire?

Hmmm. Seem's like a really good idea to inform all and sundry of our plans for January. In the 2nd week of October.!

Who said there’s no money to spend? All I keep seeing is us being linked with players? CB, CM, RB and CF.

If we said we had money to spend, we'd slate the board for showing our hand!

A cheeky loan bid for Sancho wouldn’t go amiss

Re: same old west ham?
Of course there is money available.

Whether we (Moyes) spends it, is a different matter.

Once thing is for certain, I don't expect us to sign a striker.

It’s called not letting the opposition know we have money and playing the skint card
